Issues of Linguistics - the journal  of the TSU Educational-Scientific Institute of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics was founded in 1999 by Tamaz Gamkrelidze and Zurab Sarjveladze. It is published by the decision of the University Publishing Council of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
