Caucasus Law Journal (abbreviated CLJ) is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal established in 2026 by Caucasus University and published by Caucasus University LLC through its School of Law. It provides a forum for original legal research and scholarly exchange among researchers and practitioners from Georgia and abroad.
The Journal welcomes contributions from authors worldwide and publishes research across the fields of law. It is particularly interested in work that examines legal questions through doctrinal, comparative, and practical perspectives. By bringing together scholarship from different jurisdictions, the Journal seeks to encourage dialogue on contemporary legal issues and make research on Georgian, European, and international law accessible to a wider academic audience.
Submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment followed by double-blind peer review. The Journal publishes two issues a year, exclusively in English, in print and online. The Editorial Board may also publish a supplementary issue in line with the Journal’s aims.
There are no fees for submitting or publishing an article. The online edition is freely accessible without registration. Authors retain copyright, and published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The Journal’s print ISSN is 3088-4446, and its electronic ISSN is 3088-4454.
